Effective October 13, 2026. Written in plain English.
What you enter: your military job, duties, training, education, target role and contact details you choose to put on your resume.
Payment details: handled by Stripe. We receive your email, payment status and Stripe IDs, but never your full card number.
Messages: if you email us or submit the sponsor form, we keep what you send so we can reply.
Basic technical data: our hosting provider handles standard request data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
To build and deliver your documents, process payments, provide support and keep the site secure. Nothing else.
Cloudflare (hosting and the AI that drafts your text), Stripe (payments) and our email provider (support and receipts). They only process data to provide their services to us.
Resume inputs are deleted within 30 days, and currently aren't stored after your documents are generated. Download your files when they're ready, since we may not be able to recreate them later. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing support@dutytoresume.com. California residents have these rights under the CCPA. We don't sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined there.
DutyToResume is for adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
